1 Introduction
Ultrasonic Lamb waves have been used for non-destructive testing of plates for decades, but due to the complexity of Lamb waves, there are still some problems that need to be further studied, such as: the selection of the best flaw detection parameters, the characterization of defects And quantitative analysis, etc. [1-2]. It is generally believed that the low-order Lamb wave mode has a higher stability than the higher-order Lamb wave and is suitable for non-destructive testing of plates. For the high-order Lamb wave mode, its sound field distribution and dispersion characteristics show more complex properties, and the relationship with the change of plate parameters needs to be further studied.
In this paper, the relationship between the phase velocity of each mode of ultrasonic Lamb wave and the amplitude of the normal displacement of the plate surface with the plate parameters is studied when the parameters of the solid plate are changed, and the corresponding conclusions are given. In view of the fact that the ultrasonic Lamb wave dispersion equation is related to the geometry and constitutive parameters of the plate, considering the degree of response of various order Lamb wave modes to parameter changes within a certain range will help to select the appropriate ultrasonic Lamb wave mode to obtain Higher detection sensitivity.
