For personal protection products, light stability PET material

The Voridian branch of Eastman Chemical has developed Vitiva PET, a new transparent resin for cosmetics and personal protective materials. The resin contains FDA-approved UV absorbers in the polymer chain, giving the resin a stable performance. It can protect dyes, vitamins, and fragrances in shampoos, shower gels, and face creams, preventing UV degradation. This resin can block ultraviolet light below 370 nm, extend product shelf life and ensure product quality. Because the UV inhibitor inside it is bonded to the polymer chain, there is no residue left on the mold and dryer during processing.
