Techmer PM, a US colorant and additive masterbatch manufacturer, has recently developed PM13030, a viscosity modifier, and PPM12927, a PP material antifogging agent, to improve the processing efficiency of polyolefins. The use of PM13030 products can shorten the material processing cycle and save energy. This product can increase the production of difficult-to-manufacture products such as HDPE without adversely affecting its physical properties. It can be used for food packaging materials, thermoformed parts, and pipes. The company claims that this product complies with U.S. Federal Government Food and Drug Administration Regulation 184.1324. The dose of this product depends on the actual viscosity and type of composite. The carrier of this product is PE pellets, but other polymers can also be used as carriers as required, and the processing temperature does not exceed 285 °C. PPM12927 is designed and manufactured for PP film and thermoplastic sheet. The use of this product allows the PP product to have very good transparency. PPM12927 products can not be directly used in food packaging materials, the use of dose depends on the thickness of plastic products and other additives such as colorants. This product uses a transparent polyolefin as a carrier, and other polymers may also be used as a carrier as occasion demands.
