New food packaging developed successfully

Stora Enso has introduced a new food package - a sealed cup made of non-foil cardboard. It is not only suitable for beverages, but also has great application potential in other areas for the purpose of innovative design and environmental protection. The new seal cup is made of cardboard with a high barrier coating and is ideal for packaging products such as fast foods, cereals, candies, biscuits, tea and instant coffee. In addition, the company also pointed out that the tightness of this package can also be detected through the company's density testing equipment.

Stora Enso's sealed cup was developed specifically to extend the shelf life of packaged foods with the goal of not altering the taste, odor and nutritional value of the food. The sealed cup utilizes gas-improved air to maintain the shelf life while maintaining the nutrient content, avoiding the release of aroma and fat rancidity.
