The automatic cartoner is used for erecting a folded carton into a box or folding the carton into a tray/carton, etc., packaging the finished product to be packed in a carton or a tray/carton, and performing an automatic sealing device. The device consists of six parts: an open box device, a layering device, a box filling device, an electronic control system and an electrical cabinet, and an automatic control system liquid crystal display. Different from the manual boxing, the automatic boxing equipment has higher requirements for the carton, otherwise the automatic boxing may not be performed normally. For this reason, the carton factory needs to understand the customer's packing method when manufacturing and processing cartons, so as to ensure that the packing is performed normally. For carton boxes that are packaged using automatic cartoning equipment, the following issues should generally be noted:

Crimping lines should be clear, precise and precise

Different from manual packing, automatic packing equipment has higher requirements for carton pressing lines and slotting. When manual packing, manual correction can be made to the adverse factors that affect the natural shaping of the carton, such as shallow indentation, and stress line slotting. The automatic packing mainly depends on the suction nozzle, the blocking lever and the clamping rod, and does not have the function of forming and correcting. Therefore, when the carton is processed, it is necessary to ensure that the carton has a clear indentation, and it is easy to bend when the carton is folded and folded, so that defects such as broken threads and crow's feet will not occur. In addition, the accuracy of slotting and pressing lines must be guaranteed. Generally, slotting or pressing lines must not exceed 2 mm.

In order to facilitate the automatic packing device to erect the carton upright, some foreign carton machinery manufacturers recently introduced a process called pre-crease. The pre-crease process is to install a pre-folding device on the automatic folder-gluer to pre-fold the first and third pressure lines of the cardboard once. This reduces the resistance to refolding the pressure lines, making it easier for the automated packaging line to stand upright.

Box angle loopholes should not be too large

Usually, the automatic packing method includes glue sealing and tape sealing. Unlike the manual “work” type sealing, neither the glue sealing nor the tape sealing will seal the corner of the box. If the box corner hole is too large, it will weaken the waterproof and moisture-proof function of the carton. In particular, most of the exported goods are shipped from the container to the delivery place. During the sea voyage, the air humidity in the container may be as high as 93%. If the box corner is too large, it is easy to store goods. Damp. In general, for automatic carton sealing, the corner hole diameter should not exceed 5mm.

Carton surface should be suitable for transparent plastic sealing

Some brands of linerboard, due to the higher degree of surface sizing, can easily lead to the scotch tape is difficult to adhere to, so that when loading the goods sealing, the tape is easy to open, and thus can not be effectively sealed. Usually for the linerboard used for the paper, tape testing should be carried out. The specific method is: take a transparent adhesive tape with a moderate adhesiveness, and attach it to the linerboard. Then, tear the tape to separate it from the linerboard. If the cardboard is peeled off after tearing, it indicates that The linerboard is suitable for tape sealing. If it can be easily separated and the surface of the cardboard after tearing is not damaged, it means that the linerboard is not suitable for tape sealing.

Surface paper must have a certain roughness

Some automatic packing machines also include an automatic stacking system for stacking packed cartons, but in this process we found that some cartons whose surface smoothness is relatively high and whose contents are heavy cannot be sucked by suction cups. From. The reason is that a carton with a higher surface smoothness cannot generate enough friction with the suction cup to pick up the carton. So in this case we might consider choosing a rougher surface paper instead.

Must have good flatness

Some beverage packages, such as Pepsi, use a paper tray heat shrink film package, and its paper trays are die cut from the lower grammage B-triple cardboard. The auto-packing line packs a piece of cardboard each time through a suction nozzle, folds and binds into a tray, and then bottles and seals the heat-shrinkable film. If there is a certain degree of bending in the cardboard, the suction nozzle may experience multiple failures at a time. For this reason we must ensure that the cardboard after die cutting has a high degree of flatness.

After the die-cutting, the flatness of the cardboard mainly depends on the cardboard production process. To ensure the flatness of the produced cardboard, the following points must be generally noted:

· The weight of the paper in the surface must not be too different · The water content of the paper in the surface should be close to the value · The speed of the tile line during production should not be too fast · Avoid excessively large amount of paste during production

Sometimes the cardboard after die-cutting has a high degree of flatness, but the cardboard is bent after being stored for a period of time. The reason is that the relative humidity in the paperboard storage environment is too high or too low, which causes the water content in the paperboard to change, resulting in bending deformation of the paperboard. Generally, the cardboard with particularly high flatness is required to be sealed by a plastic wrap when stored for a long time so as to isolate it from the external environment of humidity and humidity, thereby avoiding the influence of changes in the temperature and humidity environment of the cardboard.

For paperboards that are bent after die-cutting, use heavy objects for a period of time until they are flattened and then used.

Carton pressure line position should have enough folding endurance

Some automatic carton packers often fold the carton flaps outward 270 to facilitate loading the contents into the carton. If the paper has poor folding resistance, it may cause paper cracks in the indentation area. Therefore, many factories have a test item for the folding resistance of carton press lines. The test method is to support the carton after forming, the swing cover opening and closing 270 degrees, reciprocating three times, face paper, the paper must be no cracks.

When packing different products and different packing machines, the carton design, craftsmanship and accuracy requirements will be different. When designing the carton, it is necessary to truly understand the customer's actual packing situation, so that it can meet the customer's packing requirements. It will not cause excess quality.
