The copper engraving belongs to the gravure printing. The ink is filled into the etched recessed area and then pressed by the printing machine. It is a major feature of copper etching that the image of the copper plate and zinc plate adopting engraving or etching methods to make the concave part of the plate change. Corrosion method will make the metal intaglio produce rich tone changes, the picture is harmonious and elegant. The characteristics of copperplate engravings are the prominent raised fine points, screens, or lines of different thicknesses from the front of the screen. The dark tone of the works is clearly structured, three-dimensional, and the color transition is natural. as shown in picture 2. The difference from other prints is that the embossed paper will have a noticeable bumpy appearance after embossing.

Copper engraving using gravure printing machine, the use of gravure printing inks, can also be their own deployment of ink, while the choice of print paper is very important, generally 250 ~ 300g/m2 of the medium, suitable paper. In general, the first printed copper print has a slightly stiffer layer, and the effect after printing 10 sheets is better, but the first copper print is the most valuable.

3. Web Print

In the printmaking family, the screen print is the youngest and most viable one. It makes the print more connotative and more modern. For example, in terms of size, the screen print can surpass other types of prints, and its large-format prints can achieve eye-catching visual effects. Especially in color applications, screen printing techniques can be used to fully display the color charm of screen printing and make prints “ "Painting" can be vividly reflected. In China, screen printing began in the early 1980s and has since been unprecedentedly developed. It continues to be preserved in traditional manual color screen printing.

Similar to ordinary screen printing, screen printing has the characteristics of thick ink layer, bright colors, good texture, rich layers, strong performance, and a wide range of printing, as shown in Figure 3.

The production process of screen printing is basically the same as that of ordinary screen printing. The difference is: the best use of handmade net print hand-made paper; net print more attention to color design, in order to take full advantage of the characteristics of screen printing. The creation of the screenprints also has a unique feature: after the other plates are printed, they cannot be recreated, and the screens can be modified to provide artists with more flexible creative space.
