U.S. launches adjustable gas packaging film

Hercules, the United States, recently introduced a new type of packaging material that has the ability to control gases. The material is a polymer film and is mainly used for fresh-keeping packaging of fruits and vegetables.

This new material has tiny pores, which can control the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide gas in the package, slowing the exchange rate so as to inhibit the respiration of fruits and vegetables, and achieve the preservation effect.

The material is easy to produce and can be produced by food manufacturers. It can adjust the respiration rate according to different foods to achieve the best preservation effect.
