Laser processing of ceramic materials

In June 2003, a U.S. university developed a technology for processing ceramic materials using lasers that can reduce processing costs by 50%. This technique is particularly suitable for small-batch, small-size ceramic parts that are manufactured without the use of a mold, taking into account the cost of the tooling.
The researchers first used a laser to heat the ceramic material to a temperature of 1000°C to soften it. The intensity of the laser and the heating area need to be precisely controlled. The heated area is limited to a small part of the material. The hot ceramic material is then moved to a lathe made of superhard boride material for processing.
One of the great advantages of this technology is that it takes only one cut to get the part to the required complex geometries, whereas the conventional method requires several lathes to be used to shape the material.

Zinc steel Fence

Zinc-steel guardrail refers to the balcony guardrail made of zinc alloy. Because of its advantages of high strength, high hardness, beautiful appearance and bright color, it has become the mainstream product used in residential quarters.
Zinc-steel balcony guardrail has high safety and aesthetics, and the price is moderate. Its application fields are: balcony guardrail, protective window, stair handrail, fence, garden fence, shutter, air-conditioning fence, road guardrail and so on.
