The Main Tasks of Chemical Environmental Protection Scientific Research during the Tenth Five-year Plan

According to the China Chemical Industry Pollution Prevention and Control Technology Association, the main tasks of China's chemical environmental protection research during the 10th Five-Year Plan period are:
1. Combine the production technology of relevant products to develop a batch of clean production processes with low raw material consumption, high product yield, and low generation of pollutants. Such as co-oxidation production of propylene oxide, phenol and ammonia directly gas phase production of aniline, chloride production of titanium dioxide, water-soluble coatings, bionic pesticides. This not only greatly simplifies the production process, but also eliminates or reduces the generation of pollutants from the beginning.
2. Develop a batch of high-efficiency pretreatment technologies for difficult-to-biochemical wastewaters in the pesticide and dyestuff industries to improve the biodegradability of wastewater and create favorable conditions for the full utilization of existing biochemical treatment devices. For example, catalytic oxidation, electrophoresis, free radical reactions and other pretreatment technologies have been studied to solve the problem of prevention and control of high concentration, difficult-to-degrade organic wastewaters such as nitro, amines, sulfonates, and naphthalene ammonias.
3. A large number of "three wastes" with high availability value have been successfully exploited and a series of new technologies have been successfully developed for the purpose of harm reduction and turning waste into treasure. For example, we have developed separation technologies such as liquid membrane separation, extraction and separation, and ion exchange, and have developed selective, inexpensive, high-quality extractants and ultra-high cross-linking resins to concentrate and recover useful substances in wastewater. Reduce the concentration of pollutants in wastewater and reduce the burden on end-of-pipe management.
4. Successfully developed a batch of safe disposal technologies and methods that are cost-effective and thoroughly detoxified against chemical hazardous solid wastes. In particular, the development of incineration technology should be placed in an important position. Since most hazardous solid wastes in the chemical industry contain chlorine, fluorine, and sulfur, a large amount of acid gas is generated during the combustion process, which is extremely serious for the combustion furnace. Therefore, the quality of anticorrosive materials, manufacturing technology, and energy consumption are solved. The problem is really the key to the key.
5, control suitable for processing chemical "three wastes" equipment, instrument research, improve equipment processing efficiency and automation level, as well as instrumentation equipment accuracy and service life, in order to form a solid foundation for the chemical industry environmental protection industry.
