The superiority of the digital proofing system lies in its use of color management technology, high-end color inkjet printing technology, and the use of ICC color management professional digital proofing software and sophisticated spectrophotometer to accurately calculate the color space. Realize the color conversion of different color spaces, and achieve the consistency of digital proofing and printing proofing. Producing ICC-compliant device color profiles is one of the most important steps in implementing a color management process. This section describes how to create a digital proofing profile based on the ICC standard. First, establish an ICC profile that reflects print suitability It is especially important to establish an ICC Profile that reflects print suitability, because standardized and standardized printing conditions are the basis of color management, and printed ICC Profiles that reflect standards and specifications are the basic conditions for digital proofing. Therefore, digital proofing is required. Management must first establish a standardized printing status, on the basis of which the ICC Profile file can accurately reflect the ability of equipment and printed materials to express color, so that the resulting digital proofing is truly practical in actual production. The steps of standardization and standardization of printing are as follows. 1. Make a set of digital proofing test (Figure 1). This beta includes measurements of print quality indicators (such as solid density, K values, dot gain, etc.) and the ECI2002 color scale. Second, establish an ICC profile that reflects print suitability The quality of digital proofing is closely related to printing software, printers, ink, and paper. Establishing the printer's ICC profile file must be optimally matched. In general, use special digital proofing paper and matching ink. 1. Experimental conditions The hardware constitutes 1 set of 1 EPSON STYLUS 10600 color inkjet printer. 2. Experimental Method To establish an ICC Profile file that reflects print suitability, the basic linearization of the printer must be established. It determines the physical properties of the paper and the ink, and optimizes the total inkjet volume and single-channel ink volume of the printer. The use of the smallest possible amount of ink to obtain the largest possible color density provides the basis and optimization features for the creation of printer paper ICC profile files, thus establishing the basis of color management. Take the method of smooth flow as an example, that is, directly print the four-color gray scale ruler and test it with a spectrophotometer to directly generate the basic linearity of the printer. Next, the total amount of ink is printed, and the total amount of ink of the printer is determined from the printed sample. After basic linearization, the ECI2002 color standard is printed first, and the L*a*b* of the color block is tested with a spectrophotometer, and then the printability ICC profile file is generated by the profile maker software. Third, establish an ICC profile that reflects the proofing Earlier we have obtained an ICC Profile file that reflects the characteristics of the printing process and an ICC Profile file that reflects the characteristics of the color printer. Put these two files into the smooth flow (Figure 2), use the color management module (CMM) in the smooth flow to match the files, and make the digital proof simulate the color gamut of printing. However, only one color space conversion can not achieve accurate color conversion. It is necessary to modify and edit the ICC file of the printer according to the actual situation. It can modify the dot gain rate, gray balance data, UCR and GCR parameters of the ICC file. The total ink amount of the ink, etc., can also adjust the yellow, yellow, black, and black color curves separately, and finally make the printed printed sheets conform to the printed matter to establish an ICC profile file that ultimately reflects the effect. [next] Fourth, the conclusion Through practice, in order to make digital proofing and prints consistent, there are the following experiences: 1. When the color proof ECI2002 print sample is provided, the state of the press is as stable as possible throughout the printing process, thereby ensuring that the print can match the proofing effect. 2. The film output from the photo-receiver is required to meet the quality standards of the output film. The film output requires an error of ±1% at each point, a maximum density of ≥4.0, and the output dot curve is straight.
3. The printing plate reaches the best quality standard for printing. 3% - 98% of the outlets appear.
4. Adopt Heidelberg CD102 printing to strictly control the printing process conditions. The printing process parameters are shown in Table 1.
5. Use the software Profile maker and eye-one spectrophotometer to test the L*a*b* values of each color block of ECI2002, and generate an ICC profile file reflecting the printability. Because the color standard ECI2002 provided by printing compares standards and specifications, this lays the foundation for digital proofing to accurately simulate printing colors.

Print material 1 paper: EPSON digital proofing paper, 60mm web.
2 Ink: EPSON's original six-color ink.
2. The printing material should be stable. After changing the paper and ink materials, it is necessary to re-create the ICC profile file that reflects the performance of the printing press. The paper and ink used by the printer should also be stable. Once a condition has changed, the printer's ICC Profile file must be recreated.
3. The characteristics file of the printing machine needs to make a series of different black version of the characteristic file to adapt to different image types.
4. The digital proofing ICC profile file is not once and for all. In order to ensure the consistency of the simulation effect, a new ICC file with a slight adjustment of the black version curve is generally done in 3-6 months.
